Hunting stamina is live. Every hero carries a pool of hunting stamina — up to 42 hours of it. It measures how much fighting your body has left before weariness dulls what you learn from a kill. You can check it any time in Skills → Character.
| Stamina left | State | Kill experience |
|---|---|---|
| 39h – 42h (the top 3 hours) | Rested | +25% |
| 14h – 39h | Normal | 100% |
| 0h – 14h | Tired | 50% |
| 0h | Exhausted | none |
Hours left on the bar always count. Tired is half kill experience, not an empty pool — you only stop gaining kill XP at 0. Only experience from kills is affected. Loot, gold, skill and magic-level training, quest rewards and Warden's Contract turn-ins are never touched by stamina — an exhausted hunter still collects every coin and still trains their blade. The same one-line reminder sits under Stamina in Skills → Character.
Stamina burns one minute per minute of actual fighting — while you are in combat outside a protection zone. Walking around town, banking, trading, chatting, fishing in peace or standing in a sanctuary costs nothing. You only spend stamina while you're genuinely hunting.
Stamina refills while you are logged out: every 3 minutes offline restores 1 minute of stamina. The final Rested band fills slower — 10 minutes offline per minute — so the +25% window is earned with a real night's rest, not a quick relog.
In practice: a night's sleep and a workday away refill roughly what a long evening of hunting spends. Hunting up to about 6 hours a day is fully sustainable forever; beyond that the pool starts running down over the week.
In a hurry? The Full Stamina Refill Scroll (450 Tikal Coins in the premium shop) restores your stamina to the full 42 hours the moment you read it. You can use it 2 times per UTC day. It is bound to whoever claims it and is never consumed while you're already fully rested.
Tikal's combat is fast and generous — quick casts, cheap potions, no forced downtime. Without a counterweight, the leveling race is decided purely by hours logged, and the ladder burns out in weeks. Stamina turns that around:
