Warden's Contracts are repeatable hunt tasks for characters of level 8 and above — the daily loop of the endgame update. Talk to the Warden of the Hunt (seated near each town temple) and say contracts, or tap the Tasks button in the toolbar.
Claim a finished contract in the Tasks window to receive:
| Reward | Daily | Weekly mark |
|---|---|---|
| Experience | ~10% of your current level-up XP | ~35% of your current level-up XP |
| Gold | scales with your level band | 4× the daily purse |
| Task Points | 10 | 25 |
XP rewards are a fraction of your own level curve, so a contract is worth the same relative effort at level 30 and at level 300.

Task Points are permanent — and every point you claim also counts toward the month's Seasonal Ladder.
A mark beyond your reach? Each contract can be re-posted once per cycle — the board offers another beast of similar difficulty and the kill count resets.
Every kill you take part in is also recorded in your Bestiary (second tab of the Tasks window): lifetime kills per creature, counted from your very first hunt.
Your Bestiary pays Charm Points: every creature has three kill milestones (tougher creatures need fewer kills and pay more points), and each milestone reached adds to your lifetime Charm Point total. Spend them in the Charms tab on permanent perks — the nahual spirits of the hunt:
| Charm | Cost | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Serpent's Eye | 100 | +1 health and mana every regeneration tick |
| Jaguar's Bite | 600 | 10% chance to strike your bound prey for 60% extra weapon damage |
| Bloodmoon Thirst | 700 | drink 8% of weapon damage dealt to your bound prey as health |
| Stormcaller's Eye | 700 | your spells hit your bound prey 12% harder |
| Serpent Ward | 400 | absorb 20% of all poison damage |
| Obsidian Skin | 500 | 10 points shaved off every physical monster blow |
| Quetzal's Grace | 300 | walk 8% faster |
| Jade Heart | 450 | +2 health and mana every regeneration tick, even unfed |
| Sun's Bounty | 350 | monsters you slay carry 15% more gold |
| Cenote's Drink | 800 | drink 8% of the damage you deal to your bound prey as mana (weapons and spells) |
| Xtabay's Veil | 900 | 10% chance a blow from your bound prey never lands |
| Kisin's Tithe | 1000 | each non-gold drop on a bound-prey corpse has a 25% chance to yield one extra |
Charms that hunt a bound prey (Jaguar's Bite, Bloodmoon Thirst, Stormcaller's Eye, Cenote's Drink, Xtabay's Veil, Kisin's Tithe) must be bound to one kind of prey — an archetype like dragons, wraiths, or beasts — and only trigger against it. You can rebind them outside combat for free. The rest are always on once unlocked.
Save the current prey bindings as a set, then apply the whole set with one tap outside combat. Every character has one free loadout. Premium adds three convenience slots (four total). Premium expiry never deletes those saved sets: the extra slots stay visible and remembered, but cannot be saved or applied until Premium returns. Loadouts never grant a charm or alter its strength.

The table is the Premium catalogue. Free accounts pay twice those Charm Points to unlock. Every charm is available to free hunters — none are Premium-only. Becoming Premium converts what you already paid: leftover points are restored as if you had unlocked at 1×, and the Charms tab updates immediately. If Premium lapses, charms you already unlocked stay; new unlocks go back to 2×. See Premium.
The band is that creature's kill experience — the exp number on its bestiary page — not a hidden tag. Gold-named Apex elites are a different spawn: they count fivefold toward that species, they do not change its band. In-game, long-press a monster: the next kill goal is 25, 20, 10 or 5 depending on band.
| Band | Creature exp | Milestones (kills) | Points |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common | under 300 | 25 / 250 / 1000 | 5 / 10 / 25 |
| Tough | 300–2,999 | 20 / 150 / 600 | 10 / 20 / 40 |
| Elite | 3,000–19,999 | 10 / 75 / 300 | 15 / 30 / 60 |
| Apex | 20,000+ | 5 / 25 / 100 | 25 / 50 / 100 |
Every calendar month (UTC) is a season: each Task Point you claim from a contract also scores on the month's ladder, shown in the Season tab of the Rankings window (with your own rank, even below the visible top 20). At month's end the podium is paid automatically:
| Place | Reward |
|---|---|
| 1st | Champion of the Season at Temple → Honours (look-at) — plus a soulbound Guild Sunfire Banner Scroll and Rare Outfit Colors Scroll (the same unlocks as the 15,000 gold NPC / Premium scrolls, granted free) |
| 2nd–3rd | a soulbound Rare Outfit Colors Scroll |
Rewards land in the winner's backpack (online or not). Wear or hide the title from any temple flame → Honours. The champion is announced across Tikal. The tally then resets and a fresh season begins — lifetime Task Points are never touched.
