Most of the Kingdom's shopkeepers, teachers, and quest givers are still being documented by players. The Mayahuel tutorial shore is settled; mainland buying gear and selling loot are below.
Every mainland city has the four vocation shops. Say trade. High-end relics and most loot-only pieces are not in shops — hunt them or buy them on the player market. Each item's wiki page lists Bought from when a shop stocks it.
| NPC | Where | Sells |
|---|---|---|
| Itzel the Smith | every city | Jaguar Knight swords, axes, clubs, plate, shields; health potions |
| Balam the Hunter | every city | Eagle Paladin bows, spears, ammo |
| Kawil the Sky Sorcerer | every city | Sky Sorcerer wands and robes |
| Ixchel the Jade Druid | every city | Jade Druid rods, nature gear, health potions |
| Gundra the Merchant | island capitals (Palm Haven on Tikal) | potions, food, backpacks, supplies, Torch, Portable Crafting Kit |
| Vault keeper | every city temple vault | coin exchange (including Sun Coin), Premium convenience scrolls, house furniture |
| Sage Mira | every mainland temple | spells (gold tuition) and vocation promotion |
| Ixtab the Supply Keeper | Mayahuel only | training weapons, leather, food, potions, backpack, fishing rod, Torch, Flint Pick, Flint Hatchet, Bone Sickle, Portable Crafting Kit |
If nobody stocks the piece you want, hunt it or wait for a market listing.
City vocation shops only buy the wares they stock. Leftover loot still sells — cheaply, if nobody nearby lists it.
Gundra the Merchant stands in the capital shop of every live island except the tutorial shore — Palm Haven on mainland Tikal. She sells potions, food, supplies, and a Portable Crafting Kit (2,500 gp — Use it from the bag to craft T1–T2 in the field, T3 with Premium), and she is the buyer of last resort: whatever has shop value and is not already on her own list, she still takes at about 20% of catalogue value. That dump is never the good price — the matching vocation shop or the player market always pays more. Exception: legendary roamers (Midnight Pelt, Golden Hide, Tzitzimitl Claw, Apex Skull) and the four world-boss corpse uniques pay full catalogue value.
She cannot buy quest items, coins, or soulbound Premium goods. She has a large daily gold purse (75,000 gp) and a per-item daily cap; once either is spent she pays less or stops until the UTC day resets. Ask her trade, sell, or anything.
| NPC | What they buy / sell |
|---|---|
| Itzel the Smith | Jaguar Knight weapons, plate, shields |
| Balam the Hunter | Eagle Paladin bows, spears, ammo |
| Kawil the Sky Sorcerer | Sky Sorcerer wands and robes |
| Ixchel the Jade Druid | Jade Druid rods and nature gear |
Each city's shopkeeper has their own daily purse. If one town is empty, try the same shop in another city, list on the market, or wait for UTC midnight.
The travelling Obsidian Trader buys leftover weapons, armor and jewellery worth at least 100 gp at 40% of catalogue value — better than Gundra's junk rate — and full catalogue value for legendary roamers and world-boss uniques. The Events banner says Obsidian Trader is in {city} today.
List bag items at any vault keeper. Other players can buy while you are offline; gold lands in your depot.
Gold, jade, obsidian, sun, and Tikal Coins: Currency.
| NPC | Role |
|---|---|
| Daykeeper Itzel | Vocation master. Gives the first Rat hunt, swears your calling at level 8, and teleports you to mainland Tikal. |
| Nacom the Iron | Jaguar Knight advisor. Explains melee, plate, and shields. Does not sell gear. |
| Hunal the Swift | Eagle Paladin advisor. Explains bows, spears, and ammo. Does not sell gear. |
| Ah Kin the Bright | Sky Sorcerer advisor. Explains wands, fire, and mana. Does not sell gear. |
| Sak of the Grove | Jade Druid advisor. Explains rods, healing, and nature. Does not sell gear. |
| Ixtab the Supply Keeper | Basic shop. Training weapons, leather, food, potions, backpack, fishing rod, Torch, Flint Pick, Flint Hatchet, Bone Sickle, Portable Crafting Kit — nothing vocation-locked. |
| The Wandering Bard | Flavour and hints. |
| Captain Roderick | Wolf-pelt hunt. Travel off the island still happens through Daykeeper Itzel, not his ferry. |
The vault (depot) is also on the shore. Sage Mira (spells and promotion) is not here — find her in any mainland city temple after you swear (Palm Haven and the other eight Tikal cities). There is no Gundra on Mayahuel.
Choosing a calling: Vocations. Shore gazetteer: Mayahuel.
